Enterprise cloud storage network attached storage (NAS) service provider, Zetta, says it will open a new data service facility in the New York City metropolitan area. As noted in this Channel Insider story, the company is also in the process of recruiting channel partners.

"The new data center storage facility will be the third for the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company, which already operates two facilities on the West Coast. Zetta is partnering with Equinix as a collocation provider for the new facility.

"'At least 20 percent of our current customers and a larger percentage of our prospects are on the East Coast, so the new service facility makes a lot of sense for them and us,' said Jeff Treuhaft, CEO of Zetta, in a statement. 'It allows us to directly serve a large and expanding northeast U.S. market and provides greater geographic separation for our existing customers' replication plans.'"
