SwiftTest Announces New Network Storage Testing Device

The SwiftTest 5000 supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet traffic and offers one 1GE management port.

SwiftTest has recently announced that it is shipping their new SwiftTest 5000, a new device that complements their existing flagship product, the SwiftTest 3000. New features of the SwiftTest 5000 includes support for 10 Gigabit Ethernet traffic in addition to full support for CIFS/SMB, NFS, and iSCSI, with NTLM and Kerberos authentication. According to this news release on PR Web, SwiftTest provides real-time results reporting and granular statistics help identify performance bottlenecks and isolate problems so fixes can be implemented quickly.


"Not only a hardware platform, the SwiftTest 5000 features a graphical interface, the SwiftTest Test Development Environment, for easy test configuration, that includes sample tests and wizards to accelerate test development. The application enables creation of tests across protocols with fast parameter changes and reconfiguration to quickly run and rerun tests. Real-time results reporting and granular statistics help identify performance bottlenecks and isolate problems so fixes can be implemented quickly.
