Ingram Micro has unveiled a new line of Ethernet switches targeted at SMBs and home users, at a corresponding price point. Phone Plus Magazine says that the new Ethernet line will be sold exclusively through Ingram’s VARs and partners worldwide.

"Designed for customers with small or growing networks that prioritize cost-effective reliability with high throughput, the V7 8- and 5-Port Unmanaged 10/100/1000mpbs Ethernet and Gigabit Networking Switches link LAN elements such as workstations, cameras, servers, storage units, VoIP phones to wired or wireless non-blocking Ethernet.

"The new line carries a one-year warranty and all products are backed by the company’s global distribution network. Pricing for the five- and eight-port Ethernet switches start at $24.99 and $49.99, while their Gigabit counterparts come in at $59.99 and $79.99, respectively."
