GL Enhances PacketScanWeb Software

GL Communications has released an enhanced version of PacketScanWeb software for real time network monitoring for VoIP networks. As mentioned in the company's news release, PacketScan is a tool that captures live VoIP traffic, and segregates into SIP, H323, Megaco, or MGCP type calls. Hundreds to thousands of calls can be monitored in real-time including detailed analysis of selected voice band streams.

PacketScan is a powerful tool that captures live VoIP traffic, and segregates into SIP, H323, Megaco, or MGCP type calls. Hundreds to thousands of calls can be monitored in real-time including detailed analysis of selected voice band streams. PacketScanWeb is a network monitoring extension of PacketScan, wherein multiple PacketScan’s monitor and provide statistics to a central database. With PacketScanWeb, users can assess in real-time various network wide statistics using a simple web based interface'."
