Network Security Needs to Keep Up With Hackers

Norton says businesses need to do more to protect their networking infrastructure from attack.

With next generation network security systems compromised by increasingly sophisticated cybercriminals, businesses need to do more to protect their networking infrastructure. According to this One Stop Click report, Norton's security expert Con Mallon stated that activity conducted by cybercriminals can cost businesses substantial amounts of money and suggests network security must keep up with hackers.


'Ensuring all passwords are strong and difficult to break, avoiding the sharing of key information and clicking on unknown links, are key principles that must be engrained into employees.' He added that corners should not be cut when it comes to implementing and updating business connectivity security solutions. Recent research published by IP Expo showed that security is still a major concern at 88 per cent of businesses./p>
