SolarWinds Offers Updated Version of Free TFTP Server Tool

Network admins can easily upload configurations to routers, switches, firewalls, and other network infrastructure devices.

SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI) has announced that it has recently updated its TFTP Server tool. The tool, which has been a part of the SolarWinds product line-up since 1998, lets users to upload/download executable images and configurations to routers, switches, firewalls, and other network infrastructure devices, rather than manually enter network command lines.


"'Configuration management is a part of every network engineer's standard maintenance, but with high user activity throughout the year, it's often difficult to apply changes without running the risk of causing a disruption. With the end of year approaching, it's a good time for network administrators to take advantage of downtime and a lower risk environment while users are out of the office. And, this updated version of our free TFTP Server is a great tool to help them get started', said Josh Stephens, SolarWinds' Head Geek."
