Ethernet Server Adapter Integrates with PCI-e Based Networking Servers

Interface Masters launches10GBASE-T Copper 10 GE server adapter.

As reported on TMC Net, Interface Masters Technologies has introduced the 10GBASE-T copper 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GE) Server Adapter Card family. This launch is to integrate with monitoring, inline networking, load balancing WAN acceleration in mission-critical IT and security appliances, and the Ethernet Server Adapter is designed to integrate with PCI -express (PCI-e) based Inline Networking Servers, including WAN Acceleration, UTM, and IPS Systems, and Security and Monitoring Appliances such as Firewalls, IDS systems, and Analysis Probes.

"Ehud Yuhjtman, president of Interface Masters Technologies, stated that the Niagara 32711-TX utilizes the latest Solarflare 10GBASE-T PHY combined with Intel's 82599 MAC, delivering advantages in cost and power to support system integrators, IT security companies and networking server manufacturers."
