Now that the final blocks of IPv4 addresses have been doled out, businesses should be taking time to consider their strategies toward IPv6 assimilation for their websites and web surfing devices suggest experts. According to Rack Space businesses will continue working hard toward readiness for the new internet naming scheme, with varying degrees of success, with many companies testing readiness this summer.


"’We’d like to see the global Internet community test their readiness and expose potential issues in a controlled environment,’ Sally Wentworth of Internet Society told CWC. ‘Hopefully it will motivate organizations to get a dialogue going and exchange best practices.’"
