As unified communications matures from expensive technologies and intricate deployments to more accommodating to midsized organizations, the communication flexibility offered by UC becomes more valuable. Processor reports that while the UC market remains dominated by large-scale customers, experimentation and adoption by midsized customers using social media and similar technologies is growing.
