The list of companies setting up data center shop in North Carolina continues to grow. On the heels of Facebook's announcement that it had selected Rutherford County as the site of its next data center, Wipro Infocrossing, a Wipro group company, said it will set up a data center in Cleveland County, NC.

The company has purchased an existing building and will convert the structure into a new data center to support its growing IT infrastructure business. Wipro Infocrossing plans to invest $75 million into the project that will convert the existing 215,000 square-foot structure to meet tier III facility requirements and LEED certification as a sustainable building, ZDNet reports.
