GBS Boosts Network Services with IDC Global Networks Acquisition

According to The Whir, GBS Enterprises announced it has acquired data center operator IDC Global Networks. This acquisition enabled GBS to provide a comprehensive end-to-end solution for all customers regardless of their platforms. The enhanced network services include colocation, hosting, managed services, network security, WAN, and wireless services.


"The acquisition will provide GBS with the infrastructure needed to provide a comprehensive end-to-end solution for all customers regardless of their platforms, said GBS.

"IDC provides a range of solutions including colocation, hosting, managed services, network security, WAN, and wireless services.

"With data centers in Chicago, New York and London, IDC helps customers make the transition from large, costly on-premise computing centers to dynamic, flexible and cost-effective off-premise computing solutions."
