Networking Leader Force10 Scooped up by Dell

Dell expands enterprise solutions portfolio with acquisition.

Dell (NASDAQ: DELL) has announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire high-performance data center networking leader, Force10 Networks. With this acquisition, Dell customers will be offered a broader range of enterprise offerings from Dell's data center solutions portfolio that is complemented and accelerated by Force 10 technology.

The acquisition is the latest in a strong foundation building effort by Dell to provide an expanded enterprise portfolio to offer customers a complete range of datacenter products and solutions.
