6WIND Powers Next-Gen Internet Networks with Packet Processing Software

6WIND has announced the availability of its 6WINDGate software, reports Market Watch, with optimized support for the industry-leading XLP832 multicore communications processor with 32 NXCPUs from NetLogic Microsystems.

A wide range of OEMs using previous generations of NetLogic Microsystems' multicore processors have already deployed 6WINDGate. The packet processing software enables the development of best-in-class telecom infrastructure, enterprise networking and security products.
