McAfee has launched a cloud-based security suite aimed at rooting out malware scams and Web-borne threats without the need to buy or install any on-premises equipment or software.

eSecurity Planet explains:

SaaS Web Protection ... provides enterprise-grade reporting capabilities with simplified policy enforcement and controls that allow companies to set specific security parameters just as they would with the on-premises version.

V3.co.uk reports that the product provides real-time and predictive threat intelligence and protection. It offers enhanced reporting, automated policy enforcement, and the ability to secure remote offices and mobile users with the same centralized management.
