How Automation and Preventative Resolution are Transforming Workplace Productivity

LAS VEGAS - Alcatel-Lucent carved out its Enterprise business unit in October 2014. Ever since then, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise has been headed in its own direction, though still with ties back to the main company.

In a video interview at the Interop conference in Las Vegas with Enterprise Networking Planet, Joseph Raccuglia, Senior Director, Network Solutions Marketing at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise, discusses the current state of his company and where it's headed. Raccuglia also comments on how the pending $16.6 billion merger of Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia might impact Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise.

"We're still 15 percent owned by Alcatel-Lucent," Raccuglia said. "So we have continuity for our customer base in the service provider market, and it gives us the opportunity to resell MPLS backbone equipment to our large enterprise customers."
