HP has announced that all six of its internal next-generation data centers are now using the company's 3Com and ProCurve products rather than Cisco Systems' core switches and routers. The move completes a promise HP made back in April and is just the latest in a series of the inevitable parting of the two former channel partners.

The upgrade involved replacing 30 circuits between the six data centers. Although HP hasn't announced when it will be done, its next move is to swap out all non-HP edge switches from its data centers and offices, says The Register.
