IBM is targeting small- and medium-sized businesses with IBM Virtual Desktop for Small Business. The offering aims to reduce the cost and complexity of setting up VDI (virtual desktop infrastructure) deployments.

IBM Virtual Desktop for Small Business delivers access to a personal PC desktop from anywhere, using any device, using the Virtual Enterprise Remote Desktop Environment (VERDE) from Virtual Bridges. Available only through resellers, the package costs $150 per user annually, Computerworld reports.
