Botched Software Upgrade Exposes Florida Students' Info
The breach occurred between May 29 and June 2 and affected students at Broward College, Florida State College at Jacksonville, Northwest Florida State College, Pensacola State College, South Florida Community College and Tallahassee Community College. The exact type of information exposed has not been disclosed.
The is the second data breach at a Florida-based college in a little over a month. In late June, Florida International University's College of Education notified 19,000 students and 88 faculty members that their personal information has been exposed by an unsecured database.
