Imperva has analyzed the recent attack on the Web site RockYou to come up with a list of the worst passwords, reports The Huffington Post. The top 10 most commonly used passwords were:
- 123456
- 12345
- 123456789
- Password
- iloveyou
- princess
- rockyou
- 1234567
- 12345678
- abc123
IT Business Edge blogger Paul Mah offers a simple password guide. Mah says the secret number for a secure password is 12 characters. He also advocates never writing down your passwords and never using the same password for personal and work accounts.
