Verizon Wireless says Good Technology's security and management software now meets Verizon's network specifications and can be used on Android phones using its network.

As Computerworld explains:

The Good for Enterprise -- Android offering includes Good Mobile Control software for security and device management. The software supports over-the-air encryption of data, use of remote passwords and the ability to remotely wipe enterprise data from devices that have been lost or stolen.

Verizon is not selling the software, notes a Verizon spokeswoman. Since Good requires an enterprise server and client access licenses, users must contact the company for pricing and terms.
