Avaya, HP Partner to Offer Enterprise UC Solutions

This collaboration is part of a broader trend toward greater interoperability of unified communications offerings.

"HP and Avaya recently announced their delivery of cost-effective and flexible solutions, intended to extend enterprises’ networks and systems with advanced business communications. This is part of a three-year strategic agreement, where the companies add elements of Avaya's Unified Communications and Contact Center products to HP's Unified Communications and Collaboration services portfolio for enterprises. HP will sell Avaya's Unified Communications solutions, including the Avaya Aura platform," writes Robbie Pleasant on UCStrategies.com.

" 'Today’s announcement by Avaya and HP confirms the trend that we are seeing of traditional voice and data companies aligning to provide broader interoperability within unified communications,' noted Pam Avila of UCStrategies.com," Pleasant writes.
