China Dominates Carrier VoIP and IMS Equipment Markets in Q1

In 'typically down' quarter, activity among Chinese service providers drove a 16 percent increase over the previous quarter.

"China has taken firm hold of the carrier VoIP and IMS equipment market for the first quarter of 2010, market research firm Infonetics Research said in its first quarter "Service Provider VoIP Equipment and Subscribers" and "IMS Equipment and Subscribers" market share and forecast reports," writes TCMnet's Anil Sharma.

" 'China stole the show in the carrier VoIP and IMS markets in the first quarter of 2010," said Diane Myers, directing analyst for service provider VoIP and IMS at Infonetics Research,' Sharma writes.
