Cicero Networks Launches Mobile VoIP App for Android

Cicero's convergence engine will allow calls to be moved back and forth between cellular and wireless IP networks.

"Cicero Networks has announced the release of CiceroPhone for the Android platform," writes TMCnet's Bob Emmerson.

"CiceroPhone is an established and widely deployed dual-mode mobile VoIP & VCC client. In addition to mobile VoIP, the new version supports multi-mode features such as automatic network selection (2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, WiMAX and LTE) and seamless in-call transfer as users roam between IP & Cellular networks. It is designed to run on any handset running Android 2.1 and higher," Emmerson writes.
