"IP telephony vendor Fonality has announced the general availability of the new 2011 release of its hybrid-hosted IP-PBX software solution, Fonality trixbox Pro 5.2. Aimed at the SMB market, this particular hybrid-hosted solution is only available through the company's channel partners," writes eChannelLine's Mark Cox.

"Fonality is a long-time PBX vendor which made the decision several years back to transition its business to a SaaS model, selling telephony as a service. But its install base is still mainly on-premise systems, so products like this are still essential," Cox writes.
