M5 Networks Acquires VoIP Provider GeckoTech

New York-based M5 extends its reach into the Midwest with acquisition of Chicago-based VoIP service.

"New York: M5 Networks, a provider of managed and hosted VoIP has announced its acquisition of Geckotech, a Chicago based leader in Cisco-powered Hosted VoIP," writes WIREDvc's Julien Weston.

"The companies have joined forces to better service the exploding demand for business-grade hosted communications. The combination of staff, customers and datacenters creates the largest specialized hosted VoIP company in the US," Weston writes.
