Microsoft UC exec moves to telepresence provider Vidyo

'Seasoned leader' Ashish Gupta takes Vidyo's top marketing position.

"Fast-growing telepresence upstart Vidyo on Tuesday named Ashish Gupta, a well-traveled Microsoft veteran, its new chief marketing officer and senior vice president of corporate development," writes CRN's Chad Berndtson.

"Gupta brings to Vidyo a lengthy UC resume -- as well as deep channel experience -- as the six-year-old company continues its emergence as a videoconferencing and telepresence challenger," Berndtson writes.
