Nortel CVAS in 4G Mobile VoIP Push

Solution will allow mobile operators to integrate 2G and 3G with LTE and WiMAX networks.

"While at VoiceCon last week, Nortel CVAS made some other interesting headlines more related to the wireless world than the wireline world Nortel CVAS makes 4G VoIP future seem just a bit closer," writes FierceVoIP's Mike Dolan.

"As FierceVoIP has previously pointed out, echoing some IP communications industry leaders, mobile broadband-based VoIP is going to be part of our future. Nortel CVAS decided to take a step toward that future by announcing their 4G wireless push last week," Dolan writes.
