"A Japanese software company, ageet Corporation, has released a softphone called GuardVox. It is a secure phone for Windows using ZRTP protocol to provide security for IP telephony," writes TMCnet's Anuradha Shukla.

"GuardVox phone from ageet uses the ZRTP protocol of Telesecret Corporation for encryption of voice and video to provide security for IP calls. There is no need for Public Key Infrastructure as ZRTP protocol lets the endpoints to exchange the encryption keys and the security status is displayed at all stages," Shukla writes.
