Truphone Drops Price of Its Mobile VoIP Plans

The UK-based pioneer of VoIP over mobile phones has re-priced its service to a little over two cents a minute.

"Mobile VoIP provider Truphone has cut its calling rates to more than 30 destinations worldwide by an average of 60 percent, making charges as low as 2.1 cents per minute. This includes countries such as the US, UK, France, Australia, India and Canada," writes TMCnet's Sujata Garud.

"In addition, the company has also reduced the cost of its unlimited monthly call package to just $12.95 per month," Garud writes.
