Polycom Builds on Strategic Relationship With Microsoft, Announces First Room Telepresence Solution for Lync: Polycom, Inc., a global leader in unified communications (UC), announced the Polycom CX7000 Unified Collaboration System, the first room video telepresence solution custom-built for full integration with Microsoft Lync. The solution takes the Lync experience customers are familiar with on their desktops and recreates it in the conference room to provide a superior level of business collaboration and productivity for room telepresence.

SIPCOM Standardizes on Acme Packet for Microsoft Unified Communications: Acme Packet, the leader in session delivery network solutions, announced that SIP Communications PLC (SIPCOM) is deploying Acme Packet's Net-Net session border controllers (SBCs) for its worldwide launch of hosted Microsoft Lync services. IntelePeer Names Catapult Systems to Partner Program: IntelePeer, a provider of on-demand, cloud-based communications, announced that Catapult Systems, a Microsoft National Systems Integrator, has joined the IntelePeer Partner Program. According to a release, Catapult Systems now includes IntelePeer CoreCloud SIP Trunking as part of its Microsoft Lync unified communications solutions offerings. 

Logitech Business Webcams and Headsets Optimized for Lync are Ready for Office 365: Logitech International announced that its business-class webcams and headsets that are optimized for Microsoft Lync are ready to work with Microsoft Office 365 with Microsoft Lync Online, the unified communications (UC) platform for Microsoft Corp. Through this optimization users can now experience seamless audio and video conferencing or peer to peer communications from the comfort of their shared workspace or office using Logitech webcams and headsets with Office 365 -- no extra equipment, or costly installation required.
