Voice Mobility Restructures Operations: Voice Mobility International, a Vancouver-based developer and provider of carrier and enterprise messaging solutions, today announced an update to its restructuring plans.
The company is well poised to take advantage of the movement in the unified communication and messaging market to deliver services from the cloud or as a software-as-a-service offering. Recent reports like the Magic Quadrant for Unified Communications as a Service, North America, published by Gartner in December 2009, are predicting a sharp rise in the deployment of unified communications as a service. With UCaaS, the service provider gives users the ability to purchase unified communications with a monthly or yearly subscription fee. This model allows enterprise customers to minimize capital outlays, which is being well received in this economic downturn.
Aspect Announces Acquisition of Quilogy: Aspect, the global leader in applying unified communications and collaboration, today announced it has acquired Quilogy Inc., a nationally recognized IT services firm, headquartered in Saint Charles, Mo. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The revamped site is a single global portal that gives BT Conferencing customers the ability to schedule, change or cancel all conference types – audio, Web and video -- and help them use all call and account-management features online.
OnRelay Launches Partner Program for Mobile PBX in the Cloud: OnRelay today became the first unified communications provider to offer partners a fully cloud-based mobile PBX for resale as SaaS. Twenty companies have already pre-registered with the program to certify for resale in the UK, Nordics, Benelux and USA.

As well, the new release launches native support for the Apple MAC operating system and both thin computing and Web-based environments.
