Last week, Infonetics Research released two reports written by Matthias Machowinski, the firm's Directing Analyst for Enterprise Voice and Data. Machowinski's reports – Unified Communication and IP Contact Center Market Share, Size, and Forecasts and Unified Communication Deployment Strategies and Vendor Ratings: North American Enterprise Survey suggested that the UC market will top $1 billion by 2013, that the sector lost a modest 4 percent last year and that Microsoft, Cisco and AT&T are the top vendors. Machowinski discussed these and other points with Unified Communications Edge Site Editor Carl Weinschenk. (Podcast time: 22:45).
