F5’s new BIG-IP Edge Gateway claims to be the first Application Delivery Controller (ADC) on the market. According to Virtualization Journal, the product unifies secure SSL VPN access, dynamic access, and application acceleration for remote users—regardless of the device or access network—on a single, scalable platform.
