It is reported that the U.S. Defense Information Systems Agency will invest over $17 million in the next ten years on its Net-Centric Enterprise Services program.
According to this article on Defence Professionals, the
program is developing tools to enable the U.S. DoD to monitor and manage Global Information Grid performance and problems.
“According to a U.S. DISA FY11 budget document, the Net-Centric Enterprise Services program provides enterprise-level services that enable communities of interest to make their data and services visible, accessible, and understandable to other users. The program helps joint warfighting forces and the related business domains to quickly discover information sources and collaborate in a more effective manner.”
