According to this report on RFPConnect, PacketProbe can be integrated into an intelligent third-party network device, like a router for example, or it may be deployed as a stand-alone appliance.
GL Communications Inc., announced the release of its latest packet product PacketProbe – A CPE based VoIP Monitoring Solution. Addressing a press conference, Mr. Jagadish Vadalia, Senior Manager, Product Development said, ‘GL’s PacketProbe is an advanced CPE (Customer Premise Equipment) based VoIP monitoring reporting and diagnostic appliance, stemming from GL’s suite of voice analysis tools. It can fit into any existing standards based management or reporting environment, such as SNMP or RADIUS. PacketProbe can provide vital voice call quality statistics, Call Detail Records and Quality of Service metrics at the end of each call. Optionally, GL offers its own Monitoring and Reporting System called PacketScanWEB.’
