Nation’s First CIO’s Directive Benefits Cisco

After a directive from the US’s first chief information officer, Vivek Kundra, requiring that all U.S. government agencies upgrade their public-facing websites and services, Cisco could see a big boost from the private sector. Many tech industry pioneers like Cisco, Google and Verizon are helping enterprises and individuals make sure that their applications and devices can handle IPv6 as the addresses for sending information over the internet for IPv4 will soon be exhausted.
