SolarWinds Manages Distributed Network for Philippine Veterans Bank

A new case study shows how Philippine Veterans Bank uses SolarWinds’ Orion Network Performance Monitor to manage a distributed network that supports 63 branch locations and 50 offsite stations. The deployed Network Monitoring System provides immediate assessment of the health of the network, including the peripherals that are connected to it alerting the company as to network and related issues.

“‘We needed a Network Monitoring System that could provide immediate assessment of the health of the network, including the peripherals that are connected to it so we will know where and why there is a network or related issue,’ said Edgardo S. Dajao, PVB vice president, IT operations division.

“PVB evaluated the market’s network management and monitoring enterprise solutions, ultimately deciding on SolarWinds’ Orion NPM for its functionalities and features, cost-effectiveness and strong customer support.

“Designed with feedback from SolarWinds’ user-community of 40,000+ IT managers, Orion NPM is designed to manage the rapid changes in dynamic environments and allow IT professionals to simply, and visually, manage networks of all sizes. Users can view the real-time statistics and availability of their network from any Web browser, providing a convenient way for administrators to stay in tune with their networks at any time, from any place.”
