WatchGuard has announced a new competitive trade-in program, ‘Red Instead’, that allows businesses to trade in competitive unified threat management (UTM) firewalls or spam/content security appliances for free WatchGuard XTM multifunction firewalls and WatchGuard XCS messaging security appliances. The details of the program, as noted in this Earth Times report, require customers to sign a three-year WatchGuard XTM or XCS software bundle suite.
