A technical glitch during Facebook’s regular code push exposed the private e-mail addresses of its users, reports V3.co.uk. Facebook says the bug was noticed and corrected within minutes, but many Facebook users were still angered, like Twitter user atakan:
Everyone’s email addresses are now visible on Facebook, even those of people who are not your friends.
Facebook has revamped its privacy settings several times, but they have still come under fire. The social network is even facing a class action lawsuit that claims the privacy setting changes that Facebook made at the end of last year have in reality reduced privacy protections for Facebook users rather than increasing them.
