The announcement by Sopho that it has acquired network security vendor Astaro, marks an industry-first combination of endpoint security with UTM. By combining Astaro’s network security with Sophos’ threat expertise, initial integration will bring real-time protection against malware, notes Dark Reading.
Sophos partners will have access to the full network security portfolio and Astaro partners will have the opportunity to become Sophos partners and deliver a complete set of endpoint, mobile and gateway solutions to their customers.
