“Polycom and BT have been working together on Unified Communications (UC) products for a little while now and at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference they’ve announced a range of new solutions,” writes Fierce VoIP’s Mike Dolan.
“The companies are building on BT’s ‘UC Ready’ networked IT, voice and professional services for Microsoft UC. As we mentioned earlier this week, Polycom has been showing off its CX IP phones that integrate with Microsoft Communications Server “14.” The companies are offering a holistic set of UC products and services to deliver integrated applications, networks and systems to assure customers that Microsoft and Polycom technologies on the BT network will be deployed and managed efficiently,” Dolan writes.
