Social media giant SMS GupShup has raised $12 million from Globespan Capital Partners, Charles River Ventures and Helion Venture Partners.
“The company will use the new funds to expand its world presence and launch new features like Mobile CRM (Customer Relationship Management) solutions to corporate brands and businesses,” writes VentureLoop’s Tim Ruiz.
“SMS GupShup currently serves more than two million communities and has 26 million users, twice as many as six months previous, illustrating the company’s staggering growth rate,” Ruiz writes.
