EUC with HCI: Why It Matters

Earlier this year, networking startup Aviatrix emerged with a new model for enabling an overlay networking approach that extends from a local network to the public cloud.

The Aviatrix model now works with Docker containers as well enabling a cloud native networking approach to work across multiple locations. While the Aviatrix technology might be confused as being an SD-WAN, it's not, according to CEO Steven Mih.

"The way we do things is more focused on the cloud versus an MPLS cost reduction," Mih said.

Aviatrix's first product was around end-to-end network connectivity and security, which is a model that has now been extended to container networks.
