BroadSoft Signs Definitive Agreement To Acquire iLinc: BroadSoft, Inc., the leading global provider of software that enables mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers to deliver real-time communications over their IP networks, today announced it has signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire all outstanding shares of Phoenix, Arizona-based iLinc Communications, Inc. in an all-cash transaction. The closing of the acquisition is subject to the satisfaction of various customary closing conditions.

DRS ‘Emerges' with Strategic Partnership: A "very in-depth and strategic" partnership between DRS LLC and Emerge IT Solutions LLC of Kentucky will help bring new jobs to Youngstown. So says the CEO of DRS, Mike Meloy. The integration allows DRS to expand the geographical reach of its Cisco Unified Communications platform and bolster its support staff for the service, he explained. With its Cisco platform, DRS offers its customers a communication network that includes phone and Internet. RADVISION Announces SCOPIA Interoperability with BroadSoft BroadWorks: RADVISION, a leading technology and end-to-end solution provider for unified visual communications, today announced the interoperability of both the SCOPIA Elite MCU Series and SCOPIA iVIEW Management Suite with BroadSoft's BroadWorks voice application server.
