TradeArabia reports that Juniper Networks plans to try to expand its presence in the Middle East. All of the sectors Juniper is involved with – telecom, banking, and education, among others – are currently growing in this region. Juniper currently has 80 people working to expand its market share in the Middle East, and that number is expected to be even higher in the coming year.
“‘Middle East is among the top 10 growth centres for any industry. Egypt, Saudi Arabia and other states in the GCC are investing heavily in infrastructure. The industry is growing at 20 percent a year and we are outgrowing the market,’ said Pim Versteeg, Juniper Networks area vice-president and managing director, EMEA emerging markets.”
