The Orion NCM 6.1 update by network management firm SolarWinds includes support for IPv6 and real-time notifications on any configuration changes. V3 reports the update offers an “insurance policy” for network managers by helping to avoid outages when making changes to configuration settings, and ensuring that the right policies are in place to meet regulatory standards.
“‘For many businesses some of the major problems that can occur to their operations come from network configuration updates which take a long time to troubleshoot. So being able to monitor updates can help stop this happening,’ he said.”
