EUC with HCI: Why It Matters

SEATTLE - PLUMgrid has been busy working on its IO Visor for the last several years on its own, and is now opening up the effort to much broader participation as part of a new Linux Foundation Collaborative project.

IO Visor is a virtualized I/O engine that allows for programmable network functions to be created on demand at run-time within the virtualized network domains. The IO Visor project goes beyond the efforts that PLUMgrid on its own has been pursuing to growth the technology for other potential use cases and deployments.

In a video interview with Enterprise Networking Planet, Pere Monclus, CTO of PLUMgrid explained what the new project is all about.
